1. Tella

On the other hand, you can also visit the hermitage of San Juan and San Pablo, one of the oldest of the Aragonese Romanesque (included in the route of the hermitages, with approximately an hour and a half of duration) or lose yourself in the Bear Cavewhere you will discover how and where these animals lived. And if you are still hungry for more, you can continue learning at the Cave Bear Museum in Tella.

2. Aínsa

Ainsa, declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1965, is another beautiful town that you can not miss on your tour of the Sobrarbe region. Just strolling through its stone streets and looking up to see its houses seems magical enough, but Aínsa is even more.

It has an interesting offer of cultural and leisure activities, since its privileged location allows for cycling and hiking routes, as well as other outdoor activities, to be carried out from here. You can also enjoy the beauty of its castle and walls, its panoramic views, the Morisma and its carnival.

3. Ordesa and Monte Perdido Park

The Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. We will talk about this environment in more detail in other articles but there is no doubt that it had to be in this list of the most important places in the Sobrarbe region.

If you want to live a great day of nature, mountains and landscapes, this will be, for sure, your ideal place. It is perfect for all kinds of excursions and hikes in an enclave that will not leave you indifferent.

4. Broto

We return to one of the most charming villages in the Sobrarbe region. The Ara River crosses this town, leaving the Santa Cruz neighborhood to the north and the Porches neighborhood to the south.

From this location it is possible to contemplate incredible views. In addition, we encourage you to stroll through its quiet streets, have a drink in one of its terraces and soak up the calm and serenity of this place.

5. Torla

We finish this tour of five proposals for your visit to Sobrarbe in Torla-Ordesa. It is the gate that gives access to the valley and where the popular route to the Cola de Caballo waterfall begins.

History, architecture, landscape and culture is what you will find here. Its streets go from medieval to rural. You can visit the church of San Salvador, its castle converted into an ethnological museum or the main square.

Sobrarbe County is this and much more. We invite you to come and discover and enjoy it, to savor it, to walk through its villages and breathe its nature. It will win you over!
