To talk about the Pyrenees in winter is to talk about snow and there are dozens of ways to enjoy it: from the quietest to the most daring. From December to mid-May, snow activities are available. You are sure to find the one that best suits you. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

FOR THE MORE RELAXED ONES:<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Put on some good boots and go for a walk. Listen to the crunching of freshly fallen snow under your feet and start a ball war with your fellow travelers. Laughter is guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

A snowshoeing excursion will help you get to know unique corners of our territory while practicing some sports at the same time. If you don’t have snowshoes, don’t worry, there are several places where you can rent them. FOR THE CLASSICS:<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Aram\u00f3n Cerler<\/a> or the French resorts of Piau – Engaly<\/a> and Saint Lary<\/a> offer you kilometers and kilometers of snow to enjoy alpine skiing. Pineta, Fanlo or Llanos del Hospital are perfect places for cross-country skiing<\/a>. But also, the Pyrenees offers you multiple places where you can practice ski touring. Due to the altitude of the area, you can ski practically half of the year. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

After an intense day sliding down the slopes and surrounded by nature, the best thing to do is to take a hot shower and go for a walk in towns like Gerbe, where Casas Pirineo is located, or A\u00ednsa, just a few minutes away by car.<\/p>\n\n
