A perfect plan to get to know this corner of the Aragonese Pyrenees.<\/h2>\n\n

If you have a couple of days to get away from your town or city and do not know where to go, we suggest a quick getaway to the Aragonese Pyrenees, specifically to the region of Sobrarbe. Get your suitcase out of the closet and let’s get started.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Saturday<\/span><\/h2>\n\n

The starting point is Gerbe<\/a>, where you can stay in our rural tourism houses and apartments. You can start with a good breakfast<\/a> based on local products. Sobrarbe produces very good olive oil which, together with some slices of local bread and local sausages, will help you to get strength for the rest of the day. <\/span>With your batteries recharged, you can now begin to discover the places that this region has to offer. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

The first place we recommend you to visit is A\u00ednsa, only five kilometers away. There you can see its castle, the Plaza Mayor and its cobblestone streets. It is part of The Most Beautiful Villages of Spain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

In the town itself you can find numerous restaurants where you can eat, whether you are eating a menu, a snack or enjoy a gastronomic experience such as the one offered by the restaurant El Callizo<\/a>. Our recommendation is to try the local meat.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

After lunch, how about a walk? Just a few minutes drive away you will find Bolta\u00f1a, where you can enjoy its streets and its corners such as the hermitage of Santa Lucia or the remains of its castle.<\/p>\n\n

And in the evening, before going to bed, put on a good jacket and take a short walk in Gerbe. Take advantage of the tranquility that this town offers you. A tip: look at the sky… thanks to the location of our houses, you will be able to enjoy a blanket of stars.<\/p>\n\n

Sunday<\/span><\/h2>\n\n

On Sunday we recommend a nice walk. There are many areas where you can practice hiking but, for this special weekend, we recommend that you bet on the A\u00f1isclo Canyon<\/a> where you will find several routes and you can choose the path that best suits you.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

After some exercise, Escalona is a good place to eat. In addition, in this town, you can take the opportunity to buy typical products<\/a> of the area to take home.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
